The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona invites applications for one (1) tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in analytical chemistry or physical chemistry starting Fall 2023. Successful candidates shall possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry or closely related field by the start date of the appointment. Postdoctoral and teaching experiences are preferred. Qualifications include the potential for (a) teaching excellence in chemistry lectures and laboratories, (b) meaningful contributions to curriculum development, (c) development of an exciting research program with undergraduate and graduate-level (M.S.) students, and (d) experience or familiarity with techniques that promote student engagement and success.
