Tenure/Tenured-track Faculty Position
Stanford University, Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute, and Stanford Data Science

Stanford Data Science and the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute invite applications for a tenure-track appointment at any level in data science, focusing on theoretical and computational neuroscience. Applicants are expected to have a doctoral degree in statistics, data science, psychology, computer science, neuroscience, mathematics, physics or related disciplines. The likely departmental home of the appointee is Statistics, Psychology, or Computer Science, but could be in one of several other relevant departments.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute creatively and in depth to theoretical and computational neuroscience through research, teaching and trainee mentorship. We are open to candidates working on a broad range of problems including but not limited to formal theory, network models, information sciences and advanced data analytic methods. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills, and will be able to actively contribute to our rapidly growing institutes and their home department.
