HS Clinical Faculty Position | Neurovascular Division, Department of Neurology

The Department of Neurology at UCSF is considering applicants for a faculty appointment at the Assistant, Associate, and full Professor ranks of the Health Sciences (HS) Clinical series. The selected candidate will evaluate patients in the UCSF Neurorecovery Clinic (NRC) for individuals recovering from concussion and other types of traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and other acquired neurological conditions. Demand has consistently exceeded clinic capacity and this position will serve a currently unmet need. There are educational, administrative, program development, and leadership opportunities for the appropriate candidate. Teaching responsibilities may include didactic and informal teaching on clinical rounds as well as mentoring medical students, housestaff, and fellows.

Qualified candidates will possess a medical degree, valid medical license, and Board Certification in Neurology and a demonstrated track record in clinical care at the time of appointment. BC/BE in Vascular Neurology, Brain Injury Medicine, or other neurology subspecialties are desirable but not required.
