Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
The Department of Ecology, Evolution and Organismal Biology (EEOB) has a strong commitment to ensuring all members of our community feel like they belong at Kennesaw State University. Faculty and staff in EEOB are committed to instructional excellence and to the success of all our students. EEOB serves over 2,000 undergraduate majors earning the Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and over 100 majors in Environmental Science. We are committed to motivating students, generating a sense of community, and engaging in the College of Science and Mathematics Student Success Initiatives, which have as an imperative fostering success for all students in our programs.
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions in Biology in the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology for the academic year 2023-2024 beginning in January 2024. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
An earned Master's degree or Ph.D., or its foreign equivalent, in a biological science or closely related science discipline, with coursework relevant to biology and/or anatomy and physiology.

Background Check
Per the University System of Georgia background check policy, all final candidates will be required to consent to a criminal background investigation.
